Sagency: business cards

It's been a while since a decent batch of business cards. These cards for Sagency, a New York and Berlin based consulting company, tuend out great. They wanted bright and they got BRIGHT!

On screen, the design looked pretty easy but honestly, it took me a while to source the neon purple ink and 4 tries to get the perfect edge paint color. My first pass was too pink and the other test turned out too dark purple. It was harder than I thought!

I'm happy post this set of hard-earned cards.

I've been calling these cards the mint chip ice cream cards.
With chipboard on one side and a pistachio green on the other, it totally make sense, right? Maybe I needed something for my sweet tooth while printing these.

It was an pleasure to work with Jaymee again on her cards. We first met when she approached me to print her wedding invitations using the same pistachio green paper. It's one of my favorite invitations. Check them out here and the full package here on her site.

The specs:
Set 1: green with gold ink with duplexed chipboard with black ink
Set 2: chipboard double-sided with black ink

fresh off the press: alison brislin

Just finished this batch of business cards for the talented Alison Brislin in time for the Cream Event that happened this past Sunday.

These simple black and white, square business cards were designed by Kate Miss.

I can't braid my hair if my life depended on it. Thank goodness for Alison's amazing hair braiding skills. Did I mention she's a stylist too?

new year, new cards

2012

• married my number one fan who believes in me the most

• started to build the upper level of the haus

• launched Presshaus LA + featured in the Vandercook 100 book and on Emma Dime's lovely lady

• witnessed 4 weddings was even a bridesmaid in one of them

• adopted our dog Bagel

2013

• finish the haus

• grow Presshaus LA with more prints, more challenges and new friends

• create an in-house line of cards and paper goods

• cook more (I hardly did any this past year) and plant more. With the house almost done, there'll be lots of landscaping to work on.

• love more. work on being there for my husband and for family.

Holidays are here in full effect but lately the prints coming off the press have nothing to do with holiday cheer. This last push of cards have one thing in common- they're all square. 2x2 squares!  I'm so pleased with how these cards came and nearly through with seeing squares that I'm ready to print some cheesy holiday prints. If I don't do them now, then PresshausLA cards will never make it out in time.
