Imagine a brass tags on a machine.
Imagine trying to emulate that with a letterpress printed business card on kraft paper.
This is what Brackish, a Seattle-based furniture company, wanted. Andy knew exactly what he wanted for his first Unique LA show. Laura Horon created the business card design and it did the pressing, cutting and gole cutting for his cards and tags. They'll be a perfect fit for his amazing furniture pieces. We'll be keeping in touch for future pieces for the "haus."
I've been calling these cards the mint chip ice cream cards.
With chipboard on one side and a pistachio green on the other, it totally make sense, right? Maybe I needed something for my sweet tooth while printing these.
It was an pleasure to work with Jaymee again on her cards. We first met when she approached me to print her wedding invitations using the same pistachio green paper. It's one of my favorite invitations. Check them out here and the full package here on her site.

This one was a fun one. This client came to me with a clear vision- he wanted his email address to take up the entire space of his business card. After refining and lots of kerning, I added the extra touch and suggested punching out the dots in his design.
It's clever, bold. memorable and, not to mention, economical.
Yes, you can letterpress for jewelry. Why not?
I'm so pleased to be a part of this collaboration. Ann Monzon and Hanna Yum put their jewelry genius minds together and created N+n jewelry. They hand make necklaces and bracelets (so far) with understated and minimal style when worn solo, but as you layer the pieces together, they complement each other perfectly.
For their packaging, I stuck to the raw elements and created a matchbox sleeve in chipboard. No fancy paper here. Even their logo is simple just like their jewelry pieces.
